Sheltering Wings Center for Women is a domestic violence shelter in Danville, Indiana, serving Hendricks County and surrounding areas. They are a non-profit organization with a Christ-centered philosophy that focuses on building stable, independent lives.

Family Promise

Danville Friends Church supports Family Promise and local community efforts to help homeless families regain their dignity, independence and housing. The number of homeless in Hendricks County is staggering.   Family Promise is an opportunity to help “Stomping Out Homelessness” .  Putting children back into their own homes and beds is an outreach we are dedicated to.  We will serve this cause with our hearts and minds in the name of Jesus for as long as it takes.
