How to Get to Heaven
Can you be sure you’re going to Heaven? Yes, you can!
Often people today think there are many ways to God. Perhaps that’s because they have never read the Bible. They only hear partial quotes from the Bible.
If you read the Bible, you find that God only gives us one choice. Trust in Jesus or face the wrath of God. Jesus isn’t just one of many ways. He declares Himself to be the only way!
Here’s the Problem:

Because of Adam’s sin, and our sin nature, we were born condemned. Judgement has been pronounced – and it is the death penalty. God is a Holy God and cannot allow sin into Heaven. Good works won’t get you to Heaven, but God has a plan:
- God’s standard for Heaven is perfection. Nobody can be good enough on their own – Romans 3:10-1, Revelation 21:10-14, 25, 27
- Even our “righteous acts” are like filthy rags to God. – Isaiah 64:6
- Every person has sinned. – Romans 3:23
- Sin separates us from God. – Isaiah 59:2
- All we can earn is death. But God offers us the free gift of eternal life paid for by Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 6:23
God Has the Solution:
God Loves You and Wants to Rescue You. Jesus is the Only Way.

Jesus – God in the flesh, and the only perfect man – took the penalty we deserved. He willingly gave His life on the cross, so that we might be saved from death and inherit eternal life.
- God loved us so much, He sent Jesus to rescue us. – John 3:16
- Jesus, who knew no sin became sin for us as our substitute – 2 Corinthians 5:21
- Nobody can come to God the Father except through Jesus.” – John 14:6
- Only people who trust in Christ for eternal life will have eternal life. Everybody else will incur the wrath of God. – 1 John 5:12, 1 John 2:23
- There is no other way to be saved! – Acts 4:12
- We must admit our sins and our inability to change. We must depend solely on Christ – 1 John 1:9

A – Agree with Jesus that you’re a sinner and can do nothing to save yourself. (Turn away from your old life.)
B– Believe that Jesus is who He says He is. Believe that He died on the cross to take God’s wrath in your place.
C – Commit your life to Him and confess Him to others.
